Ready for Church

Heading out the door to church ... always an adventure since we TRY to make it to the 8am service (we generally are leaving our house at 8am). =) *I'm not sure why Kyleigh looks like she's seen a ghost!

Bowling

It was a beautiful day here yesterday! It warmed up to 60 degrees!! We took a family bike ride around the area (Jeff had quite the workout pulling the girls in the bike trailer behind him!) We ended the evening with dinner out and BOWLING!! (I was unable to catch a picture of Kyleigh doing her "happy" dance that she performed after each turn ... she didn't care whether she knocked down 1 pin or all 10! She ended up beating her sister by one point!!)

Playing in the Snow

Karissa and cousin Hanna built a snowman and went tubing. Jeff built an igloo for the girls to play in! What a great guy!

Snow Day

Well, we are are officially on snow day #2! Ugh!! I hate it that they missed two days of school this week already! But, we are making the most of it =) The girls and I didn't last long in the "balmy" 8 degree weather but we had some fun in the few minutes we were out there!!

More Christmas Vacation Photos...

While on Christmas Vacation out east visiting family, we drove up to Maine for a couple of days. Jeff's grandpa had bought a cabin up there years ago so he could go up there and hunt. Jeff's dad and brother still go up there hunting several times a year and had completely rebuilt it a couple of years ago. It was cozy with all 14 of us in there but FUN! The girls especially loved getting pulled around in the sled!

Ice Show

Jeff's mom bought Karissa and her cousin Ashleigh tickets to see Disney Princesses on Ice while we were out visiting for Christmas Vacation. They had a blast! They even wore their princess dresses for the show :) Fun times~

Skiing in Maine

We were able to work in a little skiing on our recent trip back east. It was Karissa's third time to try it and she's finally starting to like it! She is begging for her own skiis and even says she wants to move somewhere that she can ski all the time! It's fun to see her progress ... her daddy is a great teacher! We thought about taking Kyleigh (we took Karissa for the first time when she was 3) but the temps were in the teens! Maybe next time ...

First Haircut

I took the little monkey for her first haircut ever yesterday. She and her daddy have wanted it cut for a long time but I like it long. We only took off a couple inches...hoping it helps with the snaggles!
